Elvis Presley

The king of rock and roll aka Elvis Presley is one of the best rockers of his time. Even though he lived to 42 he still was one of the greatest rockers. He started at a very young age loving music; he got his first guitar when he was only 10 years old! His first musical success was when he was in high school when he won his talent show in at Humes High School in Memphis. In 1954 Elvis Presley   recorded his first single that’s all right. Even though Elvis was a great singer he only got half famous for that the other half of his fame from his dance moves and good looks. He danced by provocative gyrating hips and that made the ladies go crazy for him! In 1955 Elvis Presley made it big when he got his song “Heartbreak Hotel” number one on the charts of the music billboard chart. After he made in big with his songs and provocative songs moves he was all over everything! He was on the radio all the time, also on the TV and on the silver screen. Elvis Presley started in his first film in 1965 and the movie was Love Me tender and it was a huge hit at the box office. After that though he was drafted and had to go to the military  for a year and a half in Germany. After coming back from the military Elvis didn’t miss a beat with his song writing. His first song he wrote when he got was  blue Hawaii and many more songs after that but I would have to say that Elvis Presley best song ever song hound dog. But all great musical artists hit a low  in his career and died at the young age of 42 because  his prescription drug problem that no one helped him with. Imagine  if Elvis would have lived a full life how many more great sounds he would have written and how many more people he would have touched with his music and his provocative dancing.
