One great singer said "people don't like other poor
people, and rather than blame the people that make you all poor you blame each
other". This quote is from the head singer on the sex pistols John Lydon.
John Lydon and the Sex pistols changed rock and roll with their punk rock music
in Britain. John was born January 31, 1956, in London England. When John Lydon
was in school he was very smart but like all great rockers he was very
rebellious too. He got kicked out of college but actually that was very good for
him because when he enrolled at a different school he meet john Ritchie and they become best friends and also
members of the sex pistols together. In the early 1970's they were trying to
form their band and by 1975 the band the sex pistol. After a few years went by
the band became very well-known because they are the first band to introduce
punk rock to Britain. The band had a lot of success and John Lydon was called Johnny
rotten because of him having really bad teeth. Some of the songs from the sex pistols
were God Save the Queen, holidays in the sun, you did no wrong, problems and
silly things. One of their albums that made it to the top of the music listen
and that album was never mind the bollocks… here’s the sex pistols. The sex pistols were a very popular band for like 30 years and they will never be forgotten in rock and roll history.
