The eagles

The eagles are one of the greatest bands on the  1960's and of all time in rock and history! The band the eagles throughout their very successful career  they sold  more then 100 million copies of there albums. One of their  albums  sold 29 million copies in the united states and  it was  the first album ever certified  platinum. The album was called the greatest hits 1971 to 1975. Most of the Eagles success happened in the 1970 to 1976  then it started to slow  down for the eagles and they released their last album in 1979 and it was called In the long run. This album only sold 8 million  copies and in 1980  in was a very dark year because the eagles broke up!  Some of there great songs from the eagles in there so called golden year were take it easy, witchy  woman, one of theses nights and take it to the limit. But i would have to say their greatest song ever was hotel California. About 13 pasted and the eagles still didn't get back together 2 out of the 4 band members tried going solo  but they never made it anywhere with it. All looked lost for the eagles in never seemed like they were ever going to get back together until the great year 1994 when they all got back together  and toured and released there new album hell freezes over and they sold 10 million copies with this album. I would have to say the eagles compare to the greatest rockers of all time because their  music is just so smooth and  just so classic its just awesome. To top it all off they got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 1998. So anyone can think  what they want about the eagles but for sure they are one of the best of all time!
