Tom petty

Tom petty one of the best classic rock and musician and my favorite rock band. Tom petty started off in his teens  playing in a lot of local bands  tom left high school to tour his band Mudcrutch. They never made it but after that tom petty formed the group in 1975 Tom Petty and the heat breakers.   Some popular tracks from the band were American girl, breakdown,  here comes my girl, you got lucky, free falling, last dance with Mary Jane and into the great wide open.   In  1981  Tom Petty and  heart breakers had a lot success  with their  next two album Hard Promises (1981) and Long After Dark (1982), with those two albums the songs everyone like where a woman love and you got lucky. In the next album  it didn’t turn out of smooth it three years to make and during  time  tom  broke his hand by punching the wall out of frustration. In 1987 Tom Petty  house burned down  that was huge set back but that didn’t stop him. In 1989 Tom  made his first  solo album and it was a huge success  the album Full Moon Fever . It sold over 3 million copies and  some big songs in the album were I won’t back down  and Free falling was a  huge one in it. Even though Tom Petty and the heart breakers aren’t  super famous like pink Floyd , AC DC and led zeppelin they  will always be my favorite band because how  they play there music is incredible and that  there  type of classic rock music is the best.   It is kind of classic rock that is not like AC DC but there is a little folk rock in there to and when it is formed together  it’s awesome to listen to.

I  would have to say that led zeppelin  is one of the best the best rock and roll band of all time. With all his great songs like cashmere, immigration song, the ocean , how many more times, Moby dick and  much more. But the greatest song they ever  written was stair way to heaven. This  song I would have to say is the greatest rock song ever. It has won been first on 97 rock top 500 rock songs.  Another great song by led zeppelin is black dog and ramble on.

kinds of rock

There are all kinds of music like rap, country and pop but the best kind of music is rock and roll. In rock and roll there are a few kinds of rock like classic rock, southern rock, glam rock, Arena Rock ,Blues Rock British Invasion ,Death Metal/Black Metal rockabilly and much more. In the late  1940’s  and the early 1950’s  rock and roll made their way to the united states. When it started up   in the united states the people who were singing in were mostly African Americans  and  some of the music artists from the 1950’s were  Big Joe Turner, Bill Haley and His Comets, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and the Crickets. When the 1960’s came around rock and all just blew there the roof. With the great artist of the Beatles, led zeppelin, the kinks, cream, animals Simon  and  Garfunkel Jefferson Airplane  and  White Rabbit , the rolling stones , The beach boys and bob Dylan. In the summer of 1967 young   people from San Francisco started not to care about real life and became hippies and not caring about the law. Doing whatever they wanted    and the music they all listen to was  Bob Dylan, the Doors and the Rolling Stones. In 1969 the biggest rock and roll festival was ever played and it was called Woodstock. Woodstock was   biggest get together of hippies to music to rock and roll and to do drug ever. When the 1970s and 80’s came around with the musicians  like tom petty ,AC DC,  pink Floyd , kiss , twisted sister ,Judas  priest  and quiet riot. After those years were over rock and roll started to die off some. The younger kids were not into that music  anymore they are more into pop and hip hop, But still rock and roll is still around today  it’s just not a lot of people listen to it anymore.
